Teaching & Learning

Library

Our library is a welcoming space where students can read, research, study and explore new ideas.

With an extensive, curated and continually growing collection of books and resources, the library plays an important role in supporting learning and fostering a love of reading across our college. Students can enjoy the collection during session breaks, lunchtime and silent reading classes, as well as borrow books to read at home.

Students are encouraged to explore different genres and authors, recommend new titles for the collection and discover reliable sources of information to support their learning. Through access to books, websites and digital resources, students develop the research and information literacy skills needed to find, evaluate and use information effectively.

Our Library Manager, Niamh McPhelimy, regularly shares book reviews and recommendations in our fortnightly College Newsletter, helping students and families discover new reads.
