Learning Areas

At Beaumaris Secondary College, we are proud to offer a broad and engaging curriculum that supports every student’s learning journey. From building strong foundations across Communicate & Relate (English), Mathematics, BEST (Science), Technologies and Create (The Arts), to Our World (Humanities), Healthy Lifestyles (Health & PE) and Languages, our students are supported to explore ideas, solve problems, apply their learning in real-world contexts, develop independence and grow as capable, connected and engaged young people. Through ongoing feedback, reflection and learning beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to continually build their skills, confidence and understanding.

Co-curricular Opportunities

Students are encouraged to get involved in a wide range of co-curricular opportunities that extend learning beyond the classroom. From student leadership, academic extension and learning support to our College Production, Instrumental Music Program, camps, exchange opportunities, sport, clubs and Micro-credentials Program, students are supported to explore their interests, build confidence, develop new skills and connect with others across the school community.

A Place to Belong, Believe & Become

Wellbeing, inclusion, connection and a strong sense of community are at the heart of everyday school life. Through authentic relationships with our families and the wider community, we work together to create an environment where every student feels connected, supported and ready to learn. There is a place for everyone at Beaumaris — and at Beaumaris, everyone can find their place in the world.

Our Spaces to Learn, Create & Connect

Our learning environments are designed to support curiosity, creativity, collaboration and real-world learning experiences. From modern science laboratories and technology workshops to creative arts spaces, sporting facilities and flexible learning areas, our college provides students with spaces to learn, create and connect across every pathway. These environments help students feel supported, engaged and ready to thrive both inside and beyond the classroom.

Pathways & Deeper Learning

Students are supported to explore a wide range of pathways and deeper learning opportunities that encourage growth, challenge and personal success. Guided by passionate staff and grounded in our CORE values of Curiosity, Optimism, Respect and Excellence, students are encouraged to pursue their interests, extend themselves, develop confidence and prepare for life beyond school. At Beaumaris Secondary College, every student is supported to achieve success along their individual pathway.
