Today we celebrate the strength, ambition and achievements of women and girls everywhere, and recognise the many who make up our Beaumaris Secondary College community.
At Beaumaris Secondary College, students are encouraged to explore their interests, back themselves and embrace opportunities across learning, leadership, sport, the arts, community life and beyond.
Guided by passionate and talented educators, leaders and mentors, our students are supported to aim high and step forward with confidence.
We’re proud to be a community where girls belong, believe and become.
On March 16, our college community marked International Women’s Day with students and staff wearing purple, an initiative organised by our Student Community Liaison Leaders. Gold coin donations collected throughout the day will be donated to a local women-focused charity.
At lunchtime, a friendly volleyball match between our female Year 12 students and female staff brought plenty of energy and support from the sidelines.
Students also enjoyed a sausage sizzle hosted by our Year 11 VCE Vocational Major students, raising funds for their upcoming 77 Days of Year 7 celebration in Term 2.
