Beaumaris Secondary College was proud to host the Bayside Youth Summit today, welcoming students across Years 7–12 alongside peers from neighbouring schools. Throughout the day, students took part in interactive workshops delivered by Youth Leadership Academy Australia, explored key issues facing young people and collaborated on ideas to create positive change in the community through a range of leadership-focused activities and discussions. Guests were also welcomed on arrival with performances from our Junior and Senior Rock Bands.

We were pleased to welcome Cr Debbie Taylor-Haynes (Mayor of Bayside) and Matthew Cripps (CEO, Bayside City Council), who attended the Summit and presented to students as part of the program.

The Summit provided a valuable opportunity for students to strengthen their leadership skills, connect with students from other schools and share their perspectives on important community issues.
