We kicked off Term 3 with a great start at our whole school assembly. Students presented their reflections on the Year 9 ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ program and Year 10 Work Experience, celebrating their experiences and growth. We also welcomed our French Exchange students who arrived during the holidays.

The assembly featured wonderful musical performances from our Guitar Ensemble and the Year 12 group, The Blumps. Mr Scully shared insights about Connor’s Run and gave special recognition to Phoebe M for her outstanding fundraising efforts for this great cause.

Our College Captains, Lily and Val, thanked Mr Bartlett for his exceptional leadership, his kind heart, and encouraged Year 12 students to reflect on their legacies (inspired by Mr Bartlett!) and support each other in their final term at BSC. They also took a moment to warmly welcome our new Principal, Mr Bourbon, as he rejoins our community.

We concluded the assembly with inspiring words from our new Principal, Mr Bourbon, who highlighted NAIDOC Week and the relevance of this year’s theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy," to our community at BSC.
